Dysons recently hosted the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) at its Moama depot to learn more about the Transport for NSW electric bus trial vehicles. The visit allowed RFS personnel to explore the safety features of these trial vehicles and discuss how emergency response teams can best prepare for the evolving transport technology.
As part of the electric bus trials, Dysons remains committed to ensuring that safety is integrated into every aspect of the new technology. The session provided valuable insights into how emergency services can adapt to and respond to incidents involving electric vehicles, ensuring that protocols are in place to address the unique characteristics of this emerging technology.
“We’re grateful to the NSW Rural Fire Service for taking the time to engage with us,” said Jamie Dyson, General Manager of Regional Services at Dysons. “Safety is always our top priority, and as we continue with the electric bus trials, collaborating with emergency services is crucial to ensuring that we’re well-prepared for the future of transport.”
Dysons is proud to be part of the electric vehicle transition and looks forward to working closely with emergency responders to ensure safety and innovation go hand in hand.
